Duties: Support the in-house Immigration legal practice. Work in a high volume, complex environment. Handle highly sensitive information, hold information in confidence, work rapidly and accurately under pressure with attention to detail. Project management for legal cases, set up new immigration matters, prepare, organize and maintain immigration applications, and supporting documents. Conduct legal research and provide guidance on immigration sponsorship. Communicate with internal client and stakeholders regarding the status of cases, information needed and provide general guidance on immigration issues. Track the status of cases and anticipate filing deadlines and necessary preparation work for timely case management.. Develop positive and external customer relationships by coordinating with other departments or function areas.. Resolve customer problems when necessary.. Provide recommendations and feedback for process improvement and modernization as needed to matter management. Establish and maintain effective communications with all levels of employees, patient and families,. Provide support, as needed, to other support staff in the Legal department. Assist with other legal departmental needs as necessary.
