Government Relations Coordinator
The candidate will coordinate meetings, calendars, travel, memberships and events for Illinois Public Strategies team members. Assist with managing and tracking the city and state lobbying compliance paperwork, registration and reporting. File yearly lobbyist registration forms and disclosure forms and advise team members and clients on disclosure regulations. Work with internal departments to facilitate conflict resolution process. Serve as primary POC on group PAC requests with firm, and coordinate checks to elected. Liaise with campaigns to coordinate political fundraisers, maintain political events calendar and other meeting calendars throughout the year. Manage client billing accounts, including daily data input through Aderant software. Manage expense reporting for team. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Should have 3-5 years of experience, preferably working in public policy or lobbying organizations.
