Job SummaryShaw Construction of Wyoming has an opening for a Project Superintendent in our Jackson office. We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in wood frame construction. Specific experience in multi-family housing or custom residential construction is a plus but not required. We seek individuals with strong communication skills; positive interaction with the design team and owner; a proven ability to anticipate and solve problems and who are knowledgeable of computer based building software and electronic documentation. In addition, candidates must possess strong administrative skills and be capable of managing complex projects, be experienced in subcontractor management, overall project planning and scheduling, team building, and demonstrate a solid safety record.Duties & ResponsibilitiesIn accordance with Owner contract requirements and Shaw’s Best Practices, coordinate and manage the on-site construction activities, including:Study and understand the contract documents (plans, specifications and Owner Contractor Agreement) to properly execute the workOrganize and lead the division of work among the on-site Shaw teamReview the subcontractor scopes of work, coordinate with PMDevelop and implement site planning, logistics, build strategy and procedures for the execution of the works.Develop a plan for survey and layout; verify the work of othersDevelop, monitor, update and communicate the P6 CPM progress scheduleEstablish and enforce a comprehensive project safety & security program as defined in the company safety program and in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulationsCoordinate, schedule, implement and check the work of subcontractorsDevelop and implement the Shaw 1-2-3 Quality Control program.
