A law firm in Delray Beach, FL seeks an Associate Attorney to handle collection and litigation matters. This position involves managing a dynamic caseload, attending court hearings, and working on time-sensitive legal projects. Duties

• Oversee breach of contract and collection litigation from demand through judgment.
• Represent clients in court hearings (both virtual and in person).
• Prepare and present motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage a high-volume caseload to meet legal and client expectations.
• Address escalated and urgent legal matters as required.
• Participate in special projects and perform other legal duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is an advantage.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
