Legal Aid of North Carolina
The candidate will prepare immigration applications for immigrant victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and other violence. Represent clients in immigration court. Provide help, which may include litigation, to clients with legal issues involving family law, housing, and public benefits. Conduct trainings for social service and law enforcement agencies that collaborate with us. Participate in community education activities outside of the office. Must have N.C. State Bar license. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Spanish is needed. Demonstrated commitment to social justice and legal advocacy for the poor is preferred.
