Advisory Project Manager - Research & Development

The Colorado Design Center (CoDC) within Technology & Solutions Development is looking for a self-driven project manager to join our team. The CoDC is composed professionals with a wide range of skills: User experience designers, technical writers, language specialists, illustrators, and strategists. The successful candidate must be able to work with the varying disciplines to understand their needs and constraints, and successfully negotiate project plans with the development teams. This individual must also be skilled at managing issues and mitigating risks as it relates to the delivery of the implementation.

Familiar with Microsoft Project application.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
Experience in localization and globalization.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous development core concepts.
Experience in a Software Engineering, Program/Project Management and/or Engineering Management role.
Familiarity with Bizagi, Aris, Visio or other process modeling software.
Education / Certifications:
PMP Certification or plans to obtain certification within 1 -- 2 years.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related fields or equivalent practical experience.
