Personal Injury Legal Assistant
The candidate establishes and organizes case files for new and existing clients. Maintains case management system by uploading all client documents. Keeps clients informed on a regular basis by maintaining contact with clients and communicating case progress. Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, etc. Monitors and obtains discovery responses. Requests medical records from providers. Must have 2-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or case manager. Should have experience using a case management system, preferably Needles. Strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills are needed. Strong client/colleague communication skills are essential. Must have the ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
