Description

The Senior Market Development Professional provides support to the Texas Provider Experience organization to advance Humana's value based strategy at the Market level. The Senior Market Development Professional identifies actionable trends impacting provider and market performance and network operations. Calling upon demonstrated project management skills, the Senior Market Development Professional works across the organization and externally to advance and track diverse initiatives at various stages of project development. The Senior Market Development Professional is responsible for the coordination, tracking, and completion of moderately complex to complex projects across various themes in a dynamic environment, while exercising independent decision-making. Often times these projects will require analysis of situations or data, utilizing in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Plan, oversee and lead special projects and initiatives supporting Provider Experience Operations

Create and manage market-level operational and performance reporting and dashboards

Evaluate, recommend and update department processes, templates, trackers, etc.

Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagements

Research and analyze issues relating to the performance of the business operations

Identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to improve process and performance.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail along with business acumen fueled by sharp critical thinking and analytic skills

Partner closely with other members of functional teams to define business needs and achieve optimal project results

Manage variety if internal and external stakeholders, holding them accountable for deliverables as outlined

Facilitate meetings and conversations with multiple participants of varying levels, capturing relevant information to keep projects on track

Comfort in working on new projects with limited knowledge/expertise of project content and ability to learn quickly

Proficiency in communicating effectively with emphasis on presentation skills, to project stakeholders about project status, expected results and recommended next steps

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 years' experience managing medium to large scale projects in fast-paced setting

Health Plan (Medicare preferred), Population Health Management and/or Public/Community Health related experience

Direct work experience in project and/or operations management

Strong organizational, time management and communication skills who works well in a team environment

Experience organizing, implementing and measuring success of initiatives and pilots

Critical reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills with ability to work independently

Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to lead by influence

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Ability to travel as needed (35% primarily between Dallas, Ft. Worth, East Texas and Austin)

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Value based health care performance management

PMP certification and/or Six Sigma

Additional Information

This position is considered remote/work at home, however, the preferred candidate will live in the DFW region

Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
