_Job Summary:

The Sales Operations organization is a highly cross-functional, customer centric organization that is responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall customer experience. In this effort, the Sales Operations Director will partner with all business functions to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, focusing on efficiently executing order fulfillment, minimizing the amount of time the Sales organization is involved in non-revenue generating activities and supporting the Ecommerce platform. This position is responsible for leading and developing the Sales Operations organization and Ecommerce business. The primary focus of the role is to establish the overall vision for the team and ensure departmental success through achievement of key metrics.

_Organizational Relationship:

This position reports directly to the COO. This position will work closely with global Region Sales Directors as well as the larger sales team.

Specific Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance for the Sales Operations organization establishing overall goals, objectives, and team vision.

Ensure the alignment of the Sales Operations organization with cross-functional activities/priorities across the business unit

Develop key metrics to measure the performance/health of the business, ensuring departmental success, as well as ensuring achievement of business commitments to customers

Partner with the Sales and Operations teams in managing the S&OP; process, ensuring continued improvement in forecast accuracy

Support the Sales and Finance teams in analyzing high-profile, large customer deals/ongoing projects/installations

Oversee, leading when necessary, project management activities within the Sales Operations organization to include setting project priorities, obtaining alignment with leadership, developing ROI analysis, etc. for project justification

Lead and support the Sales organizations use of Salesforce.com

Partner with Sales and Marketing on customer-facing strategies and initiatives

Represent the Sales Operations organization throughout the business unit as needed (i.e. Global Product Review Board meetings, Leadership team meetings, etc.)

Support Ecommerce channel activities;

oResponsible for all online activities & management of product content

oWork closely with Marketing Product Managers to optimize the channel

oCreate and maintain the Ecommerce business plan

oManage Ecommerce Distributors in collaboration with RDSs

oResponsible for maximizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for S&G;

oKeep current in the knowledge of online trends

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Highly analytical and independent thinker

Strong negotiation/influencing skills

Comfortable talking and presenting to customers and senior leaders

Demonstrated competency in managing and leading teams

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate others

Proven ability to work in a cross-functional setting

Excellent computer skills—Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint

_Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field required, or equivalent work experience in related fields

7 years of experience in sales, operations, customer service, or other cross-functional roles

3 years of experience in managing or leading a team

Prior facilitation and support of process improvement projects

Experience in analyzing, reviewing, and executing agreements and policies

Prior experience in presenting to customers, senior management, or functional leaders a plus

Experience in working with CRM & ERP applications, preferably Salesforce.com & SAP

_Functional Requirements:

Must be able to travel up to 25%

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Must be able to manipulate a computer keyboard

Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.

Must be able to use public transportation for travel.
