What will I be doing?
Working with the Senior Manager, Reporting Applications to lead Business Intelligence projects and initiatives. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise administration and development activities related to Business Intelligence platforms. This position will be responsible for full development cycle of new report requests from evaluating design, building functionalities and visualizations, UAT, and QA on final outputs. You will apply data analysis and business development skills to influence and implement decisions and credibly interface between the Analytics team and business partners.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Draw upon Business Intelligence features to design, develop, enhance, and support complex interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports
Partner with Data Warehouse and Platform Architect teams to design data schemas and data flows that lead to report development and create and maintain automated data extracts and refreshes
Run Unit Testing, facilitate User Acceptance Testing, and implement production deployment activities
Lead role-level security control, monitor report usage and performance, and implement governance plan on the BI platform
Configure Business Intelligence reports and dashboards to optimize the presentation of analytics and solve BI platform server issues
Share key discoveries from data findings with business leaders and partners, and provide BI training for users to drive better business outcomes
Develop, implement, maintain, and document standard procedures (SOPs)
Create training materials for BI Dashboards and Reports
Lead a team of external contractors
What are we looking for?

Experience coordinating work for a team providing platform administration and support delivery
Demonstrable ability to optimally incorporate metrics and dashboards within technology solutions
Strong probing and problem-solving skills while using analytical techniques
Accountable individual, who communicates results and recommends improvements
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Three (3) years experience in Business Intelligence and/or analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, and data querying languages
Three (3) years supporting reporting technologies in complex environments, with a minimum of 1 year on Tableau & Power BI Dashboards development
One (1) year independently driving projects and initiatives
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, SQL & SQL Server
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of relational database and the SQL Server platform
Python, MicroStrategy, and experience in Cloud environment preferred
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and balance importance, and resources
Hospitality Industry experience
Supply chain management knowledge
