Profile

General Description – The client relations and project manager is responsible for client satisfaction and the effective handling of all cases.  Cases will be coordinated with team members across all areas of expertise.  The focus will be on timely, accurate, and effective handling of all cases.  Issues requiring escalation will be brought to the attention of management (CEO) as deemed appropriate.  Responsible for measuring client satisfaction through online surveys and client calls.

Project Management – Manage cases from intake to completion and beyond (surveys and client follow up).  Work directly with team members across all disciplines (experts, support team, billing) to keep cases on track.  Ensure client satisfaction by keeping them informed and aware of progress, potential delays, additional information requests, etc. 

Client Satisfaction – Measure client satisfaction, identify opportunities to improve, and build long term client relationships through ongoing communication, client satisfaction surveys, etc.  Involve management as deemed appropriate to achieve goals. 

Testimonials – Gather testimonials from clients that can be used in our marketing efforts.  Testimonials should cross all areas of expertise and speak to the quality of our work and/or client-focused approach.  Collaborate with the marketing coordinator and business development director to identify and address top priorities.

Reporting – Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports that reflect the status of our cases and highlight trends or issues that need attention and/or recognition.  Include “wins and losses” with value to client and value to ESI.  Work with marketing coordinator to identify cases that can be used in marketing efforts.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in solving problems, managing timelines and deliverables, and nurturing client relationships. A legal professional background is required and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on deliverables, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinating the development of client materials and other documents as needed to enable successful completion of deliverables for the clients.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
  • Conducting a post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Project Manager Requirements:

  • 5 years of Legal Professional Experience.
  • 5 years of Professional Project Management Experience
  • Strong client relationship skills and experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with technology including – Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Dropbox.
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.

Project Manager Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Budget management experience.

Success Criteria

  • 50% - Case/Project Management Results.  Targets set for relevant categories.
  • 30% - Client Satisfaction Results.  Targets set for relevant categories.
  • 10% - Testimonials.  Targets set for a number of marketing-qualified testimonials.
  • 10% - Reporting.  Targets set for relevant categories.

Compensation

  • Salary:  commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • PT or FT:  to be determined
  • Bonus Eligible
