Job Summary
The Comcast Digital Experimentation team is enabling evidence-based decision-making at scale. We use A/B testing and other field experiments to better understand consumer behavior. As part of the team, you'll help develop live prototypes seen by millions of Xfinity.com customers and support feature releases that impact $billions in revenue. This is a remote role, but you must live in the United States and work Eastern time zone hours. Travel to Philadelphia, PA maybe required up to 6 times/year.
Job Description
Expected Contributions
This role supports the Senior Manager, Digital Experimentation by doing anything and everything to move an experiment from start to finish: From finding interesting testing opportunities and compiling development requirements, to communicating details to stakeholders and honing your storytelling abilities. As you grow into your responsibilities, you'll need to:
Be detail oriented:
Translate business goals and objectives into experiment design briefs and technical specifications
Forecast experiment traffic requirements, test duration and expected outcomes
Work with front-end developers to identify the right technical solutions
Work with QA and IT staff to identify and mitigate experience defects
Develop and troubleshoot Adobe Target WYSIWYG campaigns, including audience logic and basic HTML
Be results focused:
Analyze test results, collaborate on findings, and document in Smartsheets, Confluence and PowerPoint
Continually groom the experiment library with new and updated briefs, results, and meta data
Conduct research reviews, identify critical customer needs, and highlight themes that drive orders, decrease servicing costs, and increase customer satisfaction
Be an influencer:
Promote experiment results broadly, helping teams connect the dots and finalize decisions
Participate in daily stand-ups, identifying potential solutions to the day's tasks
Be a teammate: Jumps in, learns what's needed and gets it done!
Required Experience:
A flexible mindset: analytical, creative, curious, and technical
Excellent written, oral communications and leadership skills: can interact with and influence creative and technical partners
Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint: able to create engaging stories around data
Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience in: Analytics, computer science, economics, performance marketing, statistics, user research, or similar fields
Preferred Experience:
Background with analytics, ecommerce, or technology
Bachelor's degree with 2 years professional experience
Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics, or other data analysis tools like Quantum Metric and Tableau
Hands on experience with Adobe Target, or other A/B testing tools like APT and Split.io
