Sanction and Competition Program Paralegal
The candidate will assist each Sanctions and Competition Programs Leads in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes for each program including required controls as well as developing and maintaining files, databases, systems creation to collect, store and retrieve data. Use readily available data sources to conduct routine legal research. With regular supervision, use data sources to conduct legal research, compliance risk assessments, investigations, audits and assist the Sanctions Lead in advising and develop and maintain files, databases and systems to collect, store and retrieve data, screening solutions through focus areas identification and implementation of mitigation plans, etc. Help draft, review and edit legal documents based on standard knowledge of legal and corporate practices and procedures. Prepare and implement training and education materials and plan and review their effectiveness, under the direct supervision of each Program Lead. Under regular supervision by the Cargill Competition and Sanctions Programs Leads, assist, coordinate and monitor progress to ensure the execution of our strategy. Maintain and deploy a Communication Plan and Tools for each program and drive a culture of awareness throughout the company by also building a global network with key legal and functional resources. Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned. Should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of paralegal experience.
