Technology Trainer
The candidate will ensure the Technology Services Group offers quality training programs to all attorneys and staff by preparing and presenting courses associated with the firm’s hardware and software technology resources. Provide new employee on-boarding training to all new hires and the Summer and Fall Associates programs. Provide flexible training options including remote learning to meet the demands of attorneys and staff. Coordinate training needs as identified by the Technology Service Center (Help Desk). Beta test all new software and enhancements to ensure a complete understanding of new or updated products and report all findings to the technology team sponsoring the test. Ensure quality training materials are prepared in accordance with the firm’s branding guidelines and made available to all attorneys and staff. This includes quick-reference guides, documentation, and handouts. Maintain the Technology Services Training Center on the firm’s intranet and ensure all documentation is posted and clearly accessible. Maintain and update the firm’s learning management system, LegalMind. Work with other staff organizations to understand their training requirements and provide the necessary courses to address those requirements on a timely basis. Report on the progress of all attorneys and staff training initiatives. Provide daily follow-up support to all attorneys after training. Manage the firm’s Security Awareness Program by selecting and publicizing the current monthly topic. Track the progress of the Program and report on a monthly basis. Maintain competency and professional currency through self-directed reading developing professional contacts with colleagues, and/or attending professional development courses. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Should have 3+ years of relevant experience in technology training in a law firm.
