\u003cp\u003eThis position is responsible for executing Rite-Hite Engineered Solutions annual business plans for marketing and product management in North America \u0026amp; guidance for key global markets.\u0026nbsp; Incumbent will work with the VP of Business Development and Product Management to help develop both short and long-term strategic plans.\u0026nbsp; Key areas of focus will include product category management, introduction of new products, and identification of key competitive threats, development \u0026amp; execution of marketing / media plans, competitive strategies, sales support materials, pricing and sales training programs for products.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e1)\u0026nbsp; Product Evaluation and Positioning\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/strong\u003eThis position will be responsible for making accurate determinations as to the short and long-term growth potential of specific products within an assigned product categories. The incumbent will offer recommendations to the VP of Business Development and Product Management as to the need for product revisions, expansion, and/or elimination. This would include driving overall product category strategy, research and development requirements, development, and emerging products.\u0026nbsp; Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e2)\u0026nbsp; New Product Introduction\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/strong\u003eThe incumbent will be responsible for executing the development of roll out materials and marketing materials to support the strategies driving new product development.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; The incumbent will also work to ensure product introductions are completed to satisfaction.\u003c/p\u003e

Pricing decisions must involve consideration of Rite-Hite\u0027s overall marketing strategies including the pricing structure of all other Rite-Hite products. \u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4)\u0026nbsp; Competitive Strategies\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/strong\u003eThe incumbent will be responsible for monitoring competitive strategies and develop effective communication/counter strategies to engage the competition.\u0026nbsp; Conducts market research and tracks market trends within the product categories.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e5)\u0026nbsp; Product Promotion and Sales Strategies\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/strong\u003eThe incumbent will work with the VP of Business Development and Product Management to give direction to the marketing specialist assigned to the category as related to Advertising campaigns, Literature, Videos, Competitive Analysis, public relations strategies and product sales presentations. The incumbent may also be involved in direct sales or strategy on major jobs for the assigned product category.\u0026nbsp; This direct involvement will require travel to customer sites as needed.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cp\u003eThe incumbent will be responsible for the development and delivery of internal training specific to the assigned product categories.\u0026nbsp; Training aids developed and used by designated personnel in actual field training.\u0026nbsp; The goal will be to \u0026ldquo;Train the Trainer\u0026rdquo; utilizing distribution\u0026rsquo;s internal sales resources such as RSVP\u0026rsquo;s, Arbon District Managers, and the Training Manager who will in turn train the field sales force.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e
