Duties: Structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and providing advice with regard to a wide range of commercial agreements and documents relating to the business, including contracts supporting facilities, out bound logistics and transportation for goods. Identifying legal issues, providing analysis of legal risks, creating and implementing solutions structured to meet new business objectives flexibly and efficiently, while enhancing legal protections and sustainability initiatives. Providing legal advice in connection with the operation of distribution centers. Collaborating cross-functionally across legal, including with the Global Supply Chain team, finance and accounting, tax, customs and trade, technology and procurement team, to identify risks and help implement effective business solutions for distribution within North America. Selecting, retaining and managing outside legal counsel to ensure high-value, cost-effective representation.
