Job Description

The CDW Account Director Role is responsible for driving and managing Intel's overall client, data center, cloud, and IOT revenue with CDW. In this role, the Account Director will develop the overall account strategy, engage with leadership from both CDW and Intel to understand their objectives, and execute a comprehensive plan across sales, marketing, and technology solutions to achieve the account KPIs. Responsibilities include establishing overall team goals, leading the overall cross-organizational team, managing, and driving a pipeline of top opportunities, co-managing the budget with the Sales Development Manager, coordinating a regular cadence of updates and executive meetings, collaborating with BU sales to drive programs, presenting on Intel strategies and technologies at various events/meetings, and managing the day-to-day activities of the team.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Intel Influencer Field Organization, Insides Sales, North America Marketing, Intel Business Units, Vertical teams, and strategic partners. As a strategic contributor, relationship building, strategic thinking, vertical marketing knowledge and influence selling are important skills. Other important characteristics of the ideal candidate include creativity, multi-tasking, the ability to network, and detail orientation.

Other Responsibilities:

-Ability to grow a revenue with datacenter, cloud, edge computing and security opportunities.

-Develop and execute a rolling 4-quarter strategic account plan that incorporates sales, technical, and marketing elements, including collaboration with key partners and both horizontal and vertical solution focuses.

-Forecast and manage pipeline and revenue projections.

-Possess and demonstrate industry expertise in K-12, Retail, Healthcare, Financial, Fed, and/or Energy.

-Ability to innovate and develop new methods to drive scale through solution providers.

-Provide the voice of the customer feedback into Intel.

As a successful candidate, you must have:

-Successful sales and marketing professional with strong executive relationship and account skills.

-Excellent cross-functional team leadership and strong influence/matrix management skills.

-Proven ability to innovate, communicate, and collaborate effectively with fellow travelers and internal stakeholders.

-Excellent public speaking and communications capabilities

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in any or several of the below:

Solution selling w/experience driving programs with enterprise and government customers

w

ith background and knowledge in selling with/through partners.

Experience in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans with major customers that have resulted in significant revenue growth and scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or Masters preferred, in relevant technical or business field.
