Cyber Security Technical Writer
WHAT YOU BRING
BachelorÃ¢Â€Â™s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Five years of information technology experience with preferred three years in an information security-related role
Knowledge of information security standards, principles, and practices
Ability to write an explanatory or procedural style
Expertise in MS Office or similar tools
Strong written and oral communication skills
The ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
Comfortable with interfacing with other internal or external organizations regarding security policy and standards violations, security controls failure and incident response situations
Ability to balance and prioritize work
Proven track record of success in fast-moving organizations with complex technology applications
Passion for Nike, for security, and a drive for continuous learning
Experience working with corporate Legal teams
Understanding of Legal Privacy concepts and regulations worldwide
Experience writing and implementing policy and process
SIEM and SOAR experience preferred
Forensics or cyber intelligence experience a plus
One or more of the following professional certifications
Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
WeÃ¢Â€Â™re looking for a Senior Cyber Technical Writer in the Cyber Incident Data Analysis (CIDA) team. This role leads documentation of cyber processes across Cyber Operations, explaining complex concepts using clear, concise language. This individual will leverage knowledge of security policies, standards, controls, and industry best practices to ensure documentation across the team is consistent, accurate, and relevant.
The candidate needs to be a team player with strong technical writing experience, curiosity, and communication skills. We are looking for an individual who is a problem solver, adept at understanding and communicating highly technical processes, comfortable with cross-functional and distributed teams, and flexible with changing priorities.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
If this is you, youÃ¢Â€Â™ll be working with the CIDA team and performing these key tasks:
Develop, organize, write, and edit operational playbooks and procedural documentation
Standardize documentation across teams.
Collaborate with teams across Nike to ensure cyber documentation is accurate and meets regulatory and audit requirements
Assist with the development of process-based metrics and reporting
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role reports into the Cyber Incident Data Analysis team at Nike within Corporate Information Security. You will work with the Nike Cyber Defense Center, Incident Response, Cyber Threat Analytics, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management, and Security Technology Management teams.
