Interactive Brokers is looking for a talented Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for the assessment, analysis, design and implementation of systems and integrations aimed at increasing the level of security, automation, and observability of all cloud-based systems. Ideal candidate is one who is passionate about iteratively optimizing cloud architectures, reducing toil, and improving the platform for software products
You will be someone who will:
Act as an infrastructure SME to architect solutions and work closely with tech leads
Establish best practices for code deployment to on-prem and cloud based infrastructure
Provide alerting and monitoring frameworks for applications and infrastructure to enable monitoring for system health and performance across the entire stack
Participate in all aspects of the SDLC for AWS solutions including planning, requirements gathering, development, and testing
Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate and excel
You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Must have 10 years of development experience
5 years of experience with AWS and infrastructure as code and delivery automation, scripting languages, experience administering Linux systems.
In depth knowledge of Groovy and Jenkins DSL
Experience building and maintaining cloud-native applications
Hands on engineering experience with AWS
Knowledge of Jenkins and the engineering of fully automated CI/CD pipelines
Strong knowledge of version control software preferably git
Strong understading of Infrastructure as Code techniques using Configuration management tools (Terraform/Ansible)
Hands on experience with container technology and Kubernetes
Familiarity with common monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
