Preschool Teacher

Profile

HOURS: 40 hours a week including prep time, monthly staff meetings, and special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-AA or BA preferred in child development or

- 12 semester/18 quarter ECE units

-Minimum of 2 years classroom experience

-California Child Development Permit or willingness to apply

-Current CPR/First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete

-Team player and able to work with diverse groups

-Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

-Good observation skills

-Excellent conflict management and problem solving skills

-Willingness to learn new tasks and exhibit a "whatever it takes" attitude

-Must be able to meet the physical demands of working with young children

-Ability to be flexible and multi-task

-Proactive, resourceful, creative, willing to ask questions and follow directions
