Seeking top associate attorney candidates with 1 ‐ 8 years of legal experience in labor and employment law. Applicants should possess excellent academic credentials, knowledge of state and federal employment and labor laws, including wage and hour laws, and experience in discovery and case preparation related to employment matters before state and federal agencies and courts. Resume, transcripts, and a writing sample should be submitted with all initial inquiries.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required:

  • Litigation experience in federal and state courts on employment claims including Title VII, Chapter 21 of the Texas Labor Code, ADA, and FLSA
  • Strong academic background and record in undergraduate and law school
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures and practice
  • Must be admitted to practice in Texas
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Strong client service orientation

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Works collaboratively with other members of law firm and clients
  • Takes assignments and delivers results within established timelines
  • Contributes to multidisciplinary and/or cross‐functional projects with some assistance from supervisor Takes responsibility for legal aspects of complex to moderately complex projects
  • Develops solutions with ongoing input and oversight from more senior members of the firm
  • Taking and defending depositions, court appearances and arguing motions
