The candidate will be preparing pdf and hard copy closing binders. Compiling pdfs of loan documents for closing; and re-dating/re-compiling, if necessary. Downloading documents from DropBox and saving them to the matter in the appropriate file. Updating legal checklists. Compiling and sending original loan files to custodian for Rialto, Alliance Bernstein etc. and sending trailing documents to custodian (such as post-closing documents and slip pages). Preparing UCC Financing Statements. Preparing Signature Pages. Filling in basic information in ancillary loan documents and warehouse loan assignment documents. Following up on post-closing items with title company, Borrower and Chatham. Preparing ACIRS forms when there is no title company. Forming entities, ordering good standings, corporate documents etc. from any Secretary of State. Ordering and following up on searches. Bachelor’s Degree is required. Should have 0-3 years of experience.
