Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their team in New York, Dallas, Houston, or Chicago. The ideal candidate will have U.S. capital markets experience, particularly in representing underwriters, issuers, and placement agents in IPOs, follow-on public offerings, private placements, and other securities offerings.

Duties

• Represent underwriters, issuers, and placement agents in various securities offerings.
• Engage in IPOs, follow-on public offerings, and private placements.
• Advise public companies on '34 Act work, if applicable.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in capital markets.
• Experience with U.S. securities offerings.
• Familiarity with '34 Act work is advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in handling complex legal transactions.
