Lead Counsel - Regulatory & Risk

The candidate will lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as a key participant in large-scale planning. Will handle matters that have a significant impact on the Company's operations, strategies, or profitability. Serve as a legal advisor to the businesses within Firms. Review and analyze complex large-scale or long-term challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Identify and analyze complex legal issues, develop conclusions and make recommendations for issue resolution. Provide substantive legal advice on matters for more experienced management of the Corporation. Develop and lead the implementation of strategic business initiatives, and lead work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Educate, train, and supervise less experienced attorneys within the Legal department. Collaborate strategically with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Lead projects, and teams or serve as a peer mentor. Develop relationships with and provide guidance to more experienced leadership, including executive officers, on issues that may present legal, regulatory, compliance, or reputational risk to the company.
