Associate Attorney

Role Description 

The position requires a full-time commitment and is hybrid, meaning that the location is in Southfield, MI  and also Lansing, MI. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal representation for our clients in divorce, child custody, and other family law matters, as well as maintaining communication with clients, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. 

Qualifications 

• Juris Doctorate degree and membership in the Michigan Bar Association 

• Experience in family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, paternity, support, and property settlement. 

• Excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively communicate legal information to clients and help the client with every step of their journey through the legal process. 

• Adept at drafting legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and other legal correspondence. 

• Experience with client management, including managing a large caseload and adhering to deadlines and client expectations. 

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. 

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills 

• Commitment to providing compassionate and skilled representation for our clients, earning their trust, and building long-lasting relationships.
