Overview and Qualifications
Job Summary: Program Guides support the program in a wide variety of ways. Program Guides often work directly with participants (impaired adults) during the majority of their time, but may also provide program support with non-direct care tasks.  . See attached chart for specific tasks associated with each Guide level.
 
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
 
Preferred Education: At least 2 years of college credit; BLS (CPR/First Aid)
 
Required License: Medication Technician certification required if performing such associated tasks. Cosmetologist license required if performing such associated tasks. Carolina Driver's License required if performing driving tasks.
 
Preferred Experience:  Working with impaired adults and/or in the human service field. Working with individuals with cognitive impairment. Working in behavioral health.
