Leasing Paralegal

The candidate will provide legal support for the structuring, drafting, negotiation, and closing of sophisticated real estate finance transactions. These transactions shall include but are not limited to: Acquisitions of property for new projects and expansions; Municipal financings, including TIPs, tax abatement agreements and grants; Department store REAs purchase and sales agreements, leases and supplemental agreements; Ground and big box leases. Assist with drafting and updating of legal documents. Develop and mentor junior members of the legal team. Support various other real estate and transactional matters. Other duties as assigned. 7 years’ relevant experience as a real estate paralegal, either in a comparable in-house setting or at a leading national firm required. Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and exemplary work ethic required.
