Tax Associate - State and Local Tax (SALT)
The candidate will have a general understanding of multi-state income/franchise taxes, sales/use taxes, property taxes, credits/incentives, and employment taxes. Will prepare multi-state and local sales/use tax returns, property tax returns, and employment tax returns. Research state and local tax issues (e.g., nexus, taxability, etc.). Draft state and local tax technical memoranda and/or matrices. Assist with multi-state and local tax controversy engagements (e.g., sales tax audits, property tax audits, etc.). Work on outsourcing state and local tax engagements at client sites, as necessary.
