The Senior IT Business Performance Professional will have the unique opportunity to 'stand up' brand new Vendor Management offices from the ground-up for one of the fastest growing healthcare companies in the industry. The Senior IT Business Performance Professional will work in concert with Information Technology and Contract Management Teams (Risk, Enterprise Information Security, Incident/Problem Mgt, Cyber Security, Vendor Management Office, Enterprise Contract Management, etc.) to assess multiple aspects of vendor performance. Assessments will lend to creation of meaningful metrics for peer and Senior Leaders in support of partner performance improvement, consultation on opportunities to both increase supplier value and inform the technology strategy.
Responsibilities
The Senior IT Business Performance/Process Improvement Professional devises measures and targets to assess and optimize the performance of IT functions, services, projects and any related improvement initiative. Identifies and analyzes performance measures and metrics, develops and maintains balanced scorecards and dashboards, and evaluates and monitors performance in IT-related areas. May include network performance management, application performance management (APM), (operating) system performance management (physical and virtual/cloud) and business transactions performance. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science or Business Administration and/or equivalent technical work experience
4 or more years of technical experience - (cultivating and providing metrics on factors relative to vendor performance, team performance and demonstration of program value.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
Experience with Microsoft office suite
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
Power BI, data visualization,
Experience working with big, complex data sets
Prior experience in the health solutions industry and/ or vendor management
PMP certification
Additional Information
This role will be Corporate Campus, downtown Louisville, KY. (WAH temporarily until Humana is able to return to the offices. WAH on a permanent basis may be an option relative to strength of skills/experience)
