Contracts Paralegal
The candidate will be reviewing and maintaining company contracts and subcontracts. Responsible for generating, tracking, and exercising contracts with vendors, landlords, and customers. Assisting with negotiating, preparing, drafting, proofing, and summarizing a variety of documents and agreements, including, licensing, events, production and talent. Reviewing, redrafting and redlining agreements, memoranda and, other documents. Dealing with sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy and discretion, as well as a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. BA/BS is preferred. Should have 2+ years corporate legal/executive experience. A paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency with contract management processes and databases is needed. Expertise with Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Outlook). Should have the ability to exercise judgment to appropriately discern when to escalate issues. Should b capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines within a challenging, fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must work well in a team environment. Should have the ability to organize and disseminate information efficiently. Should have the ability to multi-task and strong time management skills, prioritization abilities, and ability to execute. Should have the ability to simultaneously manage and support multiple lawyers, client groups, legal processes and forms of documentation. Must be a team player and self-starter.
