Finance Transformation Co-Op Intern - Winter 2022
The Finance Transformation group is a small internal consulting group that supports the Deloitte CFO in executing strategic initiatives. Some examples of these initiatives include leading a Finance Transformation for global Deloitte firms, assessing the Finance & Administration's organizational structure and strategic priorities, identifying and implementing digital finance solutions, and helping the Deloitte businesses achieve predictable, profitable growth.
Work you'll do
You will be assisting managers and senior managers in the Transformation group who support Finance strategic initiatives. These initiatives are high visibility projects sponsored by the Deloitte CFO and her staff to help Finance achieve its long-term goals. Specific tasks will include creating PowerPoint presentations to communicate various aspects of the initiatives to senior Deloitte leadership, both within Finance & Administration as well as other functions. You may also develop, own and modify detailed Excel models to conduct what-if analyses and perform other analytical tasks. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with staff, managers and senior managers across multiple Deloitte functions and geographies.
Bachelor's degree in progress in these areas of study: Finance, Statistics, Economics, Analytics with an expected graduation between December 2022 and August 2023
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
The start date for this position will be in Winter 2022
Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred)
Comfort with ambiguity along with the ability to assist in logically structuring issues and resolutions
Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
Demonstrated strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects
Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
Strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality
