The Quality Audit Professional 1 analyzes and investigates quality issues. The Quality Audit Professional 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

The Quality Audit Professional 1 collects and reviews records, summarizes issues, works with Medical director as needed, and implements corrective actions as needed. Coordinates Peer review committees. Audits quality cases for compliance. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Prior healthcare experience

Proven ability to utilize analytical thinking in determining root cause from audit results data

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Access

Prior auditing experience
