The candidate is an entry-level practitioner, with a law firm or other private sector experience, and will possess the following skills and capabilities: Should have 3-5 years of demonstrated interest and/or experience in the representation of businesses and business owners; and, experience in contract review and drafting, business formation and governance, and business/commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Should have excellent drafting skills, particularly with respect to contracts, and team focused and hard-working professional, with a strong work ethic. Must be a member of the Maryland Bar (Virginia, D.C., and other Mid-Atlantic states a plus). Will work closely with well-regarded business law partners in a growing and busy law practice in one of top legal corridors in the United States (Washington-Baltimore), and will receive a great deal of responsibility, including client contact, with tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth.
