Position Summary

The Pharmacy Returns Advisor is an enterprise role that is responsible for effectively optimizing RX inventory to reduce returns of expired product. This includes both manufacturer stock bottles and Return-to-Stock vials. The advisor will perform root-cause analysis and daily/weekly reporting to measure the current Returns volume, initiatives and liability. Due to the scope of analytics and broad connections across the organization, this position will interact with several departments within CVS; specifically, but not limited to Finance, LP, Pharmacy Merchandising, Pharmacy Operations, Long Term Care, and Specialty and Caremark Mail. The Pharmacy Returns Advisor position requires a strong understanding of reverse logistics, forecasting, data mining, statistical analysis, and other supply chain processes.

Job Description:

-Develop and support weekly production reporting jobs, including new ad-hoc reports, utilizing Microsoft Office and Oracle database query tools.

-Create RX Returns/Waste KMI reporting and other benchmarking strategies

-Identify and implement new inventory optimization strategies across entire CVS Health enterprise

-Work with key business owners to perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple geographical or merchandise hierarchies. Provide management with accurate and timely information and recommendations pertaining to daily operational efficiencies.

-Build analytical models to illustrate the impact of proposed enhancements - including modifications to supply chain processes, ordering strategies, inventory productivity initiatives, and operational improvement strategies.

-Develop new reporting and delivery methodologies for gaining better insight and efficiencies.

-Enhance existing analytics toolset and participate in the sourcing of new tools; including defining requirements, development and UAT.

-Supervise clerical contractor colleagues responsible for store compliance outreach

-Manage relationship with external shipping partners

Required Qualifications
