Corporate Counsel
The candidate will establish relationships across the company and support all functional teams with their legal needs. Will create internal processes, manage outside counsel, and support the Legal Team on a range of legal matters, including corporate governance, commercial agreements, compliance, and intellectual property. Responsibilities : Develop, implement, and improve corporate governance policies and procedures. Lead and support on corporate transactional matters and strategic initiatives. Provide day-to-day legal support and legal advice to internal business teams on relevant corporate and legal matters. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts, policies, terms and correspondence. Support management and expansion of intellectual property portfolio. Improve our legal processes to help us scale globally. Support the Legal Team with all other legal matters. Manage outside counsel. Must be Member of the California Bar (in good standing) or eligible to register as California Registered In-House Counsel. Should have 4+ years of experience working in a law firm and/or in-house legal department. Experience working in the technology/e-commerce sectors is a plus. Must have excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
