The candidate will proactively monitor overview of case development; anticipate next steps and implement follow-up measures to ensure tasks are timely completed. Coordinate with Docketing and confirm attorney calendars to ensure accuracy of dates, and compliance with court deadline procedures. Create, edit, revise, redline, and/or proofread correspondence and legal documents from dictation, written and/or electronic copy. File paper and electronic documents with appropriate courts and agencies; ensure proper filing procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Manage, organize, and maintain client information and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation received by mail or electronically promptly and accurately. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Track and enter client related activity time per firm and client guidelines. Provide general administrative assistance. Operate standard office equipment to perform copying, scanning and faxing. Work closely with others in internal administrative teams. Relevant law firm experience preferred. Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite at a skilled level.
