The candidate will assist with the drafting and reviewing of state licensing applications (e.g. Michigan Liquor Control Commission, Lottery, Sales Tax, etc). Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Monitor client licensing applications and files. Record and store client information. General assistance to attorneys. Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal preferred. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Ability to be teachable and flexible. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
