The Diverse Strategy Advancement -Talent Lead will provide leadership in the development, implementation and advancement of programs to accelerate our talent pipeline. The candidate will work closely and provide consultation to executives, HR Leaders and cross-functional partners. The role will serve as a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) on inclusive design, bias mitigation, process improvements, reforming systems of inequity, identity dynamics across the full spectrum of diversity and multicultural proficiency.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a strategic mentality with an ability to think about processes broadly, refine questions, probe for understanding and find connections to other work

Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with senior leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally
Identify, develop and foster relationships with industry thought leaders, consultants and partners to apply best practices to help drive an inclusive culture
Drive short-term execution aligned to long-range objectives with a focus on operational excellence
Define, compile and analyze data and metrics to support business decisions
Lead and facilitate meetings and key initiatives in-person or virtually with the I&D, People Experience, Human Resource Senior Leadership teams and partners
In partnership with the Business, Human Resources and People Experience Journey teams and other key partners assesses, coaches on approaches to develop diverse pipelines of talent
Educate and influence partners and stakeholder
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum four (4) years' talent management experience; preferably with a focus on driving DEI programs supporting equitable talent practices with solid understanding of DEI and talent management best practices and industry benchmarks
Successful experience leading talent programs to accelerate pipelines of talent (e.g. Executive Incubator; Apprenticeship Programs; Emerging Talent/University Partnerships; Emerging Talent/Professional and Military Partnerships)
Strong consulting and presentation skills; ability to customize solutions to the needs of the organization/business segment
Ability to command attention and influence through excellent oral and written communication skills; ensures effective interaction with all levels of the organizations - senior, executive level audiences and front-line associates; ability to positively represent Humana in external forums
Knowledge of systems of inequity, inequality and oppression and can embed standard methodologies of inclusion to drive real talent outcomes
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Agile mindset - ability to understand, collaborate, learn and remain flexible to achieve high-performing results
Strong analytical skills and ability to create insights
This role is allocated to Eastern Time Zone , the person selected for hire will work in this time zone.

Experience in a wellness Healthcare organization or industry

Additional information:
The Diverse Strategy Advancement -Talent Lead is a Work-At-Home opportunity with the expectation to travel, based on Company policy, to Humana headquarters, Humana micro-sites and other locations as warranted to perform the essential duties of the role. The candidate will report to the Director, Diverse Talent Strategy.
Vaccine policy:
Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. If progressed to offer, candidates will be required to: provide proof of full vaccination, including booster OR provide proof of applicable exemption including any required supporting documentation.
