is looking for a Lead Mobile Developer
for a full time position with a trusted client in the Financial Services Industry in Tempe, AZ.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to Software Development Manager, will assume the role of a technical lead for mobile application portfolio
working closely with IT, business stakeholders and vendors/development partners.
Architect, design and manage development
of technical solutions that meets user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Lead & train other developers (onsite and offshore) on a project to deliver results.
Drive technical designs to consensus and approval by Architecture Review Team.
Design and develop enterprise solutions
for specific business need that provide frameworks, interfaces and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements.
Understand and contribute to Enterprise IT strategies.
Understand compliance regulations
and adhere to development guidelines.
Has good understanding of mobile platforms,
device manufacturers, mobile browsers and device management.
Work on several development initiatives concurrently and provide subject matter expertise in areas of enterprise and client facing mobile strategy and execution.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
in Business/Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent is required.
Experience with enterprise and client facing mobile applications
strategy and execution.
10 years
application development experience.
2 years of experience developing enterprise or client facing applications for mobile devices,
Hands on experience with both native and mobile web applications
on iPhone/iPad and Android.
Provide technical leadership
, teams of at least 2 to 5 developers, with architecture, design, development and oversight.
Provide leadership to include planning, collaboration, conflict resolution, and driving results for medium to large projects.
Must have proven experience managing teams of at least 2 to 5 developers.
Must be able to oversee internal developers and outsourced mobile development vendors.
Solid object oriented analysis/design/development experience
(C , Java or C#/.NET)
Strong understanding of SOA concepts.
Preferred to have development exposure to Enterprise integration and SOA technologies
• Hands on development experience with rich user interface technologies for mobile.
Implementation experience of software design patterns and best practices applicable to mobile development.
Follow and create development processes required for efficient, effective and repeatable implementations.
Prior experience with regulated financial organization is a plus.
Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies
in a distributed team environment is a plus.
