Industry Contracts Officer

Duties: Review, negotiation and execution of all industry sponsored research agreements. Determines the nature and scope of the relationship of investigators to industry sponsors, and develops the business terms of the research project. Providing consultation to faculty, campus administrators and industry sponsor representatives in such areas as clinical research procedures, policies, and contract language; training and educating campus about Industry Sponsored Agreements – Policies, Practices, etc., and participating in the strategy planning and implementation with Director of ICD to increase, broaden, develop and maintain relations with industry. Acts as a responsible business official for the University. Responsible for negotiating and signing all industry research contracts between Industry Sponsors. Handle clinical trial agreements, material transfer agreements (incoming materials of all types and outgoing clinical specimen or data), sponsored research agreements, grants, and confidentiality agreements.
