This is an exciting opportunity in
Rocky Mount, North Carolina for a Material Handler Technician.

Your impact will happen in these and
other ways:• Driving forklift to locate/transport production parts • Maintain accurate floor stock • Maintain accurate inventory in inventory system • Ability to audit and trouble-shoot issues to successful resolution (identify root causes and correct) • Perform additional duties as assigned ','!*!• Two to three years of hands-on experience in the use of various material handling equipment and at least six to twelve months of forklift driving experience • Must have a valid North Carolina Driver's License and be able to obtain/maintain a valid RMEP-Rocky Mount Engine Plant forklift license • Zero safety incidents and/or property damage incidents • Knowledge of and ability to perform tasks in material handling entry systems • Demonstrated ability to use RF Wands • Individual must be self-managing and a team player • Good math skills • Good communication skills (written & verbal) • Ability to comprehend various inventory reports and ability to complete the appropriate inventory actions to maintain system accuracy • Familiar with diesel engine components Other:Must be able to lift forty-five pounds frequently and seventy-five pounds or more infrequently with assistanceMust be able to wear hearing protectionInterpret information by using visual acuity, hearing and speaking, gross and fine motor skillsWork eight hours or more frequently The nature of work in this area is not conducive for individuals with respiratory conditionsShift premium available for 2nd/3rd Shifts
