Head of Financial Risk Management
The candidate will drive the approach and all financial risk management activities of the firm. Develop, operationalize, and maintain robust enhancements to market, credit, and liquidity risk management coverage. Oversee margin lending and advisory lending products and support the ongoing maintenance of each program. Agree, track, and report on metrics to monitor financial sensitivities associated with risks across business lines. Chair the firm’s financial risk committee. Support the expansion of activities into emerging areas of opportunity including securities lending, hedging, etc. Create insights into the modeling and methodology of liquidity stress testing. Must possess the ability to interpret FINRA, SEC, and state regulations and understand how they should apply to the firm’s activities.
