E-Commerce Hotel Marketing Supervisor','CC-0000QJ','!*!JOB SUMMARY

The E-Commerce Hotel Marketing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring proper execution of all direct channel marketing initiatives for hotel sites, TicketStations and DiamondResortsTravel.  The Supervisor oversees projects within DiamondResortsHotels and Microsite packages and promotions including third party vendors and Online Travel Agents (OTA).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manages project flow, deadlines and status of the department and reports status to direct manager.

Maintains working calendar of all direct promotions and notifies Regional Manager and/or Coordinator of upcoming promotions that need to be created or updated.

Works with Hotel Marketing Coordinators to assist in maintaining the Ad Schedule spreadsheet and updates spreadsheet with transactional details of direct initiatives including number sold, total room nights, total revenue and average daily rates.

Ensures any packages and promotions offered on OTAs and third parties are also executed on direct channels.

Ensures all e-commerce reports, plans, budgets, and calendars are loaded on the Company internal website, DRInsite, and updates consistently.

Works with Hotel Marketing Coordinator in creation and management of direct channel source, codes, rate codes, and Marketing key codes and sends the details to the Legal department for approval. Direct codes include, but are not limited to:  Pay-Per-Click campaigns, display campaigns, TripAdvisor and Trivago business listing special offer codes, Seekda meta-search and Google offers.

Oversees the execution and timely deployment and reporting metrics for all Yield Management eblasts.

Assists the E-Commerce Marketing Manager in creation, execution and management of monthly TicketStation and DiamondResortsTravel reports.

Conducts frequent competitor set and OTA audits to ensure rate packages and offerings are in parity and competitive to market trends.

Maintains updated information on resorts, photos, renovations and staff; and completes data content requests.

Aids in submission and maintenance of all e-commerce related contracts.

Loads rates in Company software systems, Clarity and EZYield.

Communicates with the Creative Services department for Sales collateral.

Completes and submits Electronic Project Request Forms, monthly email blasts, featured resorts, banner ads, and TripAdvisor ads.

Maintains tiered promotions spreadsheets with current and accurate information.

Participates on weekly property review calls to advise of recent changes, and offer ideas and suggestions on potential changes.

Attends bi-weekly e-commerce calls, writes and deploys minutes from each meeting with highlighted action items and deadlines to meeting attendees.

Oversees all projects including, but not limited to:  DiamondResortsHotels and Microsite packages and promotions, TripAdvisor, Trivago Business Listing special offers, Flip.to Social Sharing promotions, Seekda meta-search, Eblast and Ad Schedule promotion calendar and more.

Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.

Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field. 

EXPERIENCE

A minimum two (2) years of experience in the sales and marketing field required.

No supervisory experience required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position spends the majority of the time (50% or more) achieving organization objectives, often through the coordinate achievements of subordinate staff.  A portion of the time may be spent performing individual tasks related similar to those performed by direct reports, but primary duties are supervisory or organizational-goal related.  Analyzes and resolves problems, determines work techniques, monitors for regulatory compliance, maintains production, interprets and creates policies, and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge. 

Establishes departmental goals and objectives, functions with independence, and makes decisions on matters of significant importance.  Manages human, financial, and/or physical resources; proactively assesses risk to establish systems and procedures to protect organizational assets.   Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action; develops systems to ensure subordinates adhere to policies and procedures in compliance with organizational goals and objectives. 

Specific supervisory duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Determines and creates policies, procedures and manuals for direct reports.

Establishes objectives and goals for the team; plans, organizes and manages work flow.

Assigns, monitors, and reviews work; evaluates direct report’s performance.

Recruits, interviews, trains, disciplines, and terminates direct reports. 

Orientates and trains direct reports.

Approves time records and time off requests; submits payroll for direct reports.

Investigates and resolves concerns and complaints.

Provides assistance and support; maintains a positive and professional working environment. 

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS

This position does not require licenses or certifications.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Ability to learn and frequently access Google Analytics.
