The candidate will source, negotiate, and close content-for-equity investments. Hire, develop, and mentor a team of analysts to support full lifecycle deal activity. Foster relationships with founders, accelerators, and VCs investing in target sectors, including technology, media, gaming, financial services, and climate. Attend industry conferences and sponsored events to showcase the firm’s data, capabilities, and venture practice to early stage companies and develop investment leads. Represent to and achieve buy-in from executive leadership for content-for-equity investments and advocate internally for portfolio companies. Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in legal, finance, and the partnerships team to execute transactions and support ongoing relationship with portfolio companies. Bachelor’s degree is required. JD or MBA degree is preferred. Should have 10+ years related work experience. Should have 4+ years in venture capital or growth equity. Experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing venture or growth equity investments is required.
