Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on transactional tax matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
• Collaborate closely with clients and other attorneys to develop strategies for tax-efficient business transactions.
• Conduct detailed tax research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal opinions.
• Assist in structuring and executing tax-related transactions for both domestic and international clients.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
• Assist with the mentoring and training of junior associates and support staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• 4-6 years of experience in transactional tax law.
• Strong academic background with demonstrated legal expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
• Must be admitted (or eligible to waive in) to the New York Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to waive in).
