A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation practice in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including personal injury, insurance coverage, construction defects, and professional liability. The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a proactive approach to managing case files and advocating for clients.

Duties:

• Manage and maintain case files while ensuring compliance with court requirements
• Advocate for clients in civil litigation matters, including personal injury, insurance, construction defects, and professional liability cases
• Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis to support case strategy
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and judges
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
• Develop positive relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring strong teamwork and client satisfaction

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm, business, or government agency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical abilities and advocacy skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workload effectively
• Proficiency in legal research and computer applications
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and external parties
• Commitment to long-term employment and professional growth

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Indiana, in good standing
