The candidate duties will include: will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of complex and technical paralegal tasks in support of the corporate attorneys. Serve as liaison for all legal needs stemming from Brazil operations, including assisting with mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Perform international contract review. Responsible for international contract reviews and day-to-day operations of the company’s anti-bribery/anti-corruption program. Work closely with members of the Legal, HR, Tax, and accounting teams (locally and internationally), as well as other internal and external counsel on M&A, corporate governance, and other corporate matters. Assist with project management and Portuguese language translation for interactions between corporate office in the U.S. and the company’s Brazilian team, including facilitating tests, conferences, and meetings in Portuguese. Assist Human Resources and Accounting teams with the integration of Brazilian and English documents as well as determine headcount and cost assumptions.
