Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle various first-party property cases, including claims involving insurance disputes.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Provide comprehensive legal analysis and recommendations to clients.
• Prepare and argue motions in court, effectively representing clients' interests.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Interact with clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop effective legal strategies.
• Maintain accurate case files, and documentation, and ensure compliance with firm policies.
• Stay updated on developments in first-party property law and related legal areas.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Proven experience in first-party property litigation or insurance defense is strongly preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal software and case management systems is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active, current membership with the Florida Bar.
