Assistant Brand Manager: The successful Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for supporting the management and growth of our key Home Brands. To be successful within this job, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties of the job outlined below, and to accept special projects as assigned. Scope: • Supporting: Coordination of all aspects of Managing Brands, to drive the business across all channels. Become an expert of all things branding. • Communication: Demonstrate team building skills through collaboration with direct manager and all communication/interaction/timelines/product and marketing of brands and project manage all aspects. Ability to conceptualize and gain buy in internally. Collaborate: Work with marketing audience owners to identify existing & new opportunities to increase brand awareness, acquisition & sales. • Team building: Work with multiple disciplines within the company, and outside the company; brand owners as well as vendor relationships. Review and implement all opportunities across concept; Bed Bath & Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, Harmon and Christmas Tree Shops and That! • Analytical Thinker: Ability to understand the scope of projects with timelines to coordinate all internal and external partners, readily identify opportunities, formulate practical solutions. • Self Starter: Proactive to seek new opportunities and able to work with minimal supervision. Individual must be able to assess a situation, develop a plan, make recommendations, get approval and move forward. • Passion for fashion & trends, with an understanding of multi generational application by brand JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Requirements•Minimum of 1 -2 years of Brand/Merchant/Retail/Product Development Experience • Experience of Home Retailing related field both is store, on line, full omni channel scope • Bachelors degree with focus in Retail Business Management • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, & Powerpoint • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking, organization detailed oriented and high prioritization skills are required. Strong ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal/external teams is required. • Professionalism and strong development of partnership with an art of negotiating. • Highly motivated and disciplined, with an ability to manage several open projects at a time and met deadlines. Experience in leading simultaneous projects across a long term horizon (12 months ) with business case development & proof of concept.,
