Description

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer will lead development on applications built within Azure cloud and related applications on-prem and in other cloud environments. This person will collaborate with cloud architects, solution engineering leads, senior business leaders, and product owners to implement innovative cloud solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data science insights.

Work in agile product development framework

Ensure team is following enterprise technical, security, and architectural best practices

Advance the adoption of new techniques, tools, and processes to streamline delivery capabilities

Develop cloud solutions based on business requirements and approved architecture

Evaluate and integrate tools and frameworks required to provide desired capabilities

Diagnose system performance issues and advise on necessary changes

Break down components of a solution and lead implementation efforts

Interact with product and business stakeholders beyond engineering

Mentor and coach developers

Required Qualifications

4 years of technical and development experience

Experience with ETL, SQL, PySpark

Experience managing cloud applications and network security

Experience with git repositories and release pipelines

Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

1 or more professional Azure certifications

Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks

Experience with Terraform

Experience with Python

Experience with containerization

Experience with building and maintaining APIs
